R&B singer Johnny Ace of Memphis, Tennessee, died of the wound to his head.
Reports state that Johnny's life ended tragically at age 25 as a result of his own
recklessness. He had been playing with a gun thinking it wasn't loaded when it
fired the fatal round. Some say Johnny Ace sounded like Johnny Mathis but
with soul. Johnny Ace is best remembered for the song you are about to hear.
